Sith Warrior PC
Where is Darth Vowrawn?
Lord Qet
You'll never find out, scum. You defeated Lord Haresh, but you can't overcome the three of us at once....
Darth Vowrawn
Stop. Lord Qet, stand down.
Lord Qet
My lord, retreat into the shadows. We will stop this assassin.
Darth Vowrawn
There could be ten of you and you would fail. Leave us.
— Encountering Lord Qet in the Sith Warrior class story[3]

Lord Qet is a minor NPC in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. The apprentice and bodyguard of Darth Vowrawn, Qet was confident and protective.[2]

Biography[]

Qet's modern art project

In the Sith Warrior class story, Qet wanted to defend Vowrawn from a perceived threat, but Vowrawn instead surrendered, asking only that the player character spare his apprentices, including Qet. Soon after, Qet used the Force to absorb an explosion, protecting his lord from it, but was then shot seconds later.[3]

In the "Saving Face" Heroic Mission, Qet has been secretly attempting to build a statue in Vowrawn's honour in the jungles of Dromund Kaas using slave labour. The labourers have rebelled, and building is stalled. The statue also, notably, looks nothing like Darth Vowrawn.[4]

Personality and appearance[]

Vowrawn mentions that his "protection here has taken a recent hit". When he does so, Qet steeples his hands over his face. Qet and Vowrawn's relationship is unusual in the turbulent Old Republic-era Sith Empire, where apprentices and masters are usually plotting to kill one another. In their sole scene together, both Qet and Vowrawn are willing to give up their own life to save the life of the other.[3]

Qet is a human[note 1] with a muscular build, brown eyes with epicanthic folds, a wide nose, and light brown skin that gets washed out in blue lighting.[2]

Mistakes
Actually, R2 has been known to make mistakes...
This article contains a theory about Star Wars and supporting evidence for why it possibly could be true, but Star Wars Fic Reference Wiki may be like R2... from time to time.

As he is a bodyguard, part of his work is to appear intimidating, and he is a Sith Lord in the Sith Empire, making it unlikely he would hide Dark corruption (glowy gold eyes is the starting point for this, in the game). Within the mechanics of the game, it is thus likely that Qet's "Dark alignment" is below "Dark I" - only slightly Dark, neutral, or even, theoretically, Light.

End of theorizing

Notes[]

  1. 1.0 1.1 According to game data, which is viewable on Jedipedia.net's SWTOR Database,[1] Lord Qet's head model is "head_human_bms_asian_npc01". Other data is also marked for humans, males, or both human and male.
  2. The "Foundry" flashpoint states that 97% of Imperial Humans have some Sith (species) DNA. Qet is therefore likely to have some Sith (species) DNA.
